I predict Brady will acheive 5 TD's and 400+ yards

Its a damn Shame too because as a whole I really think I have a better team than my opponent. Oh well better luck next year I guess.

I'm riding the Brady-train to victory and I don't feel bad about it as my first (LJohnson) and fourth (Ahman Green) round draft picks have been injured most of the year.

 
I'll either face Brady, or Romo/MBIII/Witten next week. Not sure which is less painful, but I think I'd prefer to take my chances vs. the Cowboys.

 
I'm thinking 7-8 TDs and 550 yards may be more realistic. No joke. I definately expect Brady to have his best game of the season statistically this week against Belichicks personal rival, Mangini and the Jets. Not to mention Brady could could break the single season TD record this week, at home, and who better to do it against than the Jets. The Pats D will probably score a couple times too. Seriously, this game has 63-10 written all over it.

 
Yea, this could be a sick week for Brady. I can see BB throwing deep up 50 points in this one. Brady owner in my league also has Moss and Welker. The rest of his team blows, but hasn't mattered so far.

I wouldnt say at a minimum, but i will guess he goes for 440 and 7.P.S. I cant believe the line is only -24, this might be my best bet of the year. The Pats should easily win by 30+.
 
The guy in our league sat Brady for Romo this week (don't ask why he has both in a 12 team league) and Moss as well and I need 28 points in a traditional scoring league with Brees and Norwood out to beat him. If he holds on he's gonna win the league IMO.

 
I'm wondering if I should take Jabar Gaffney over Clinton Portis on the waiver wire this week. (Yes some idiot dropped Portis) Gaffney might catch one or two of those Brady TD's

I'll face Brady, Moss AND the Patriots D in week 16. We were the top two teams all year. Last time, I was up 100 points in the am and Brady's 40 yard pass to Moss deep in the 4th in the blowout game vs. the Redskins beat me by 1. I'm hoping that it's a blowout early and then they may pull these guys against the Dolphins. But the D could score 40 points alone
 
I have Brady and Moss in one league, but am gonna go see how many other leagues I may be facing him in. God I hope its not many. lol

 
I managed to win this week with ADP, and the first thing I checked was to see how many Patriots I'll be playing next week.

It occurred to me that perhaps the WRs for the Jets, if any are healthy and playing, would be a pretty strong play next week as well.

 
In addition to embarrassing the Jets, I bet they go for some records.

What's the most TDs throw in a game? What's the large point total and margin of victory?

Brady will have this by halftime and then he will sit the 2nd half. I understand the argument here on running up the score, but Belechick isn't THAT stupid. Once they have a 28-0 lead, they will turn it over to the back-up and yet continue to score.

I completely agree with the post above that mentioned the part of going after Brady's knees if he keeps scoring at will. They are going for the undefeated season and a Superbowl ring. I don't think that Belechick takes the chance on Brady getting hurt on a stupid fluke play in the 4th quarter, and NE up 48-7.

Maybe it's wishful thinking to hope for just 325/3 since I play against Brady, Gore, and Edwards this week.

Wondering the same thing. Grabbed Gonzalez in one league where the rosters aren't locked yet, but was seriously debating Gaffney.
 
I won my division getting the first round bye but now have to get past the Brady/LT owner week 15. At least the rest of his lineup is so-so...

My Jets need to come up reeeal big for me. Maybe this week BB will attempt to run the ball down our throat?

I faced Brady this week and whooped his team...honestly, there's no reason a Brady-led team should be unbeatable. In fact, in two of my three most important leagues, the Brady team isn't going to make the playoffs.

Well yes I also beat this very same team (With Brady facing the Steelers) in week 14 because we are in the same division. Now he is the #1 seed and I am the wild card and face him back to back weeks only this time Brady gets the Jets.

Also, I beat the Brady owner just to make the playoffs....granted that was the Ravens game when he had his lowest point total of the year and I won by 2pts.

Of course any one player doesn't make a fantasy team unbeatable, but Brady against the Jets is surely intimidating and gives the Brandy owner a big advantage at the QB position and their opponent starts behind the eight ball no matter who else they have at QB.

I'm in 5 leagues, the brady team (I got him in 2 leagues) is 1st or 2nd in all of them, all won or had a bye this past week. No clue how you would miss the playoffs with production like this from one position, bad luck is my only guess....

I think the Pats D is going to be an ace in the hole for fantasy teams....especially against the Jets.

 
Brady owner in my league just got knocked out of the wildcard this past week by the Addai/JLewis/FWP owner

i was not looking to face him next week as the #1 seed and he the wildcard

i think like the guy that said 325/3 and a long rest at the end of the game

 
the Brady owner knocked me out of both playoffs yesturday.

i fell really bad for anyone playing BRADY in week 15 especially if that is your championship. He might have 400 yards and 5 TDs easily against the Jets. BB is going to embarrass Mangina

Facing him in both of my leagues.

There's some hope: in both leagues I have LT against the Lions, and he could certainly have one of his LT games. Also, Belichek could decide to do the unexpected and show some class once the scores gets to 35-0. Also, Brady could get hit by car this week.

Those are pretty much my only three hopes at this point.

 
It will be interesting to see how motivated the Jets are. In part it depends on how much they care about Mangini.

I expect the Patriots to break at least one of the following records this game:

QB Pass TD's in a season (need 5 to reach 50)

WR Rec TD's in a season (need 4 to reach 23)

I think there is an outside shot of tying the record of passing TD's in a game (7), which hasn't happened since 1969.

This has a chance of being the biggest blowout in modern football history.

Playoffs in 4 leagues:

Dynasty:

1: I am the Brady owner, along with LT and AD :lmao:

2: Players available 2X, could very easily face the Brady owners in weeks 16 and 17. I suppose I'll just have to counter with LT and Westbrook :rolleyes:

Redraft:

1. Brady owner didn't make the playoffs - same record I did, but I squeezed in with more total points.

2: I face Brady next week. Lucky, he only has Brady, Edge, Gore and not much else; I have Garrard, AD, Plax, Grant... basically, I'm better than him at every position except QB.

In my total points league, the Brady owner won't be touched, he's locked it up.

Ummm, have you seen a Pats game this year???? Brady does not come out until at least the 4th qrt. no matter the score, and he only comes out if it's a blowout. 28 points at halftime is just not enough in Bellichecks book.
