12 team leaugue, Super Flex used (can start a 2nd QB or any other position), start 2 RBs, start 4 WRs
I play in this league along with my 17 year old son and 10 other unrelated owners. It is a cash league. My son and I both regularly field competitive teams in this league and are both playoff contenders at this early juncture.
There is sometime some sniper shots from the peanut gallery when there is a deal involving our 2 teams. As such, before accepting this deal I would like some independent Shark Pool eyes to opine that it appears to be a "fair deal".
I give up David Garrard, Ron Curry for Santana Moss and Lendale White.
My rationale: I picked up Warner off the WW as my 2nd QB two weeks ago, so I have some depth at QB with both Garrard and Warner (it is nice to be able start 2 QB from time to time). I have a need for some RB help this week due to byes and need some RB depth as my RB#2 is Henry and RB#3 is Jordan. I also have RB#4 and RB#5 as Foster and KJones. Henry, Jones, and RB#1 are all on bye. So if Jordan doesn't play I don't have a starter at RB#2 for this week. I have another offer of Sammy Morris for Garrard, but I like this deal better. I like Curry, but now that Moss is healthy I think that he has more upside.
His rationale: He has some RB depth and now has Jacobs back off of injury. He had been using Kitna/Delhomme as his QB/Flex. Delhomme is out and he also has Carr who is iffy/weak. Garrard would be a nice stable upgrade for him at QB#2 (who he will frequently start at Flex). White is probably his 4th RB, perhaps #3.
Anyway, I'm not looking for Asst Coach advise as both of us want to do this deal. I just want to make sure that objective fantasy experts think that it is a kosher deal in case any peanut gallery members start whining I can point them towards this thread.
