due to a dispute with the man who is commissioner of my group of friends (spread out across the US) fantasy football league (dispute stemming from fantasy basketball season, where he is not the commissioner) i have been banned from this season's fantasy football league.
i still want to play and have discussed with two teams the possibility of becoming a "silent partner". i am not the best fantasy player, but i have finished in the money (second place to the same guy both times) the last two seasons and neither of these guys have won yet.
i have already agreed to team up with one of the guys, but i am thinking perhaps it would be posible for me to work with both teams. it would be a conflict of interest, sure, but in both cases my interest would be in building the strongest team possible to increase my chances of winning the prize. i am thinking with one of the teams i could be more "hands on" and the other i could be more of a "consultant" since that guy has stronger opinions and is pretty hardcore (why does he lose every year? i think he drafts too many backup RBs hoping for injuries...)
in both cases, i would have to be silent or the commissioner would probably kick out the real owners of the teams. but does anyone think this is possible? or am i just a scumbag? for the record, the dispute with the commissioner stems from him welshing on two trades.
