We've all heard stories about the FF newbie homer who comes to his first draft and picks his favourite team's RB, QB, 3 WRs, aTE and kicker with his first seven picks.
This year, if anyone did that with the Patriots, they are almost certainly running away with their league at present. In most leagues it would have been perfectly possble to have drafted Maroney in round 1, Brady/Moss in rounds 2 and 3, Stallworth 4, Welker 5, and Watson 6.
I was trying to think if any "homers" could have had a similar season. Not with the Colts, for instance, as you would never have got all of James, Edge and Harrison in the first three rounds. The only one I could come up with in recent years is 1999, where a Rams homer could, had he been so inclined, have gone Faulk/Bruce/Warner/Holt (Warner/Holt's first year). But I can't believe there would have been many Rams homers left with the faith to draft all their skill players given they would have had to previously spent years drafting Tony Banks, Amp Lee, Ricky Proehl etc...
So anyone come up with a better "homer season", which would have been possible to draft? Also, anyone come across one of these New England "homer teams" this year, and if so were they unbeaten until this week?
