Sure he's not very good, but more people spell it wrong than get it right.
Thank you. Last year it was Leinhart. Drove me nuts. And might I add it's AD not AP for Adrian "All Day" Peterson.

I'm surprised it's taken you 2 years to realize that the majority of the Shark Pool can't spell worth ####.

I think I may refer to him as ADAP, because I can't bring myself to type AD in reference to AP.
It would be AADP, I think.
I'm going with "All-Day" Adrian Peterson.

You were breaking up a little, but sounded like you said "I miss you, and I miss us". Me too. I miss every little thing about you and us (its always the little things that no one else would think about that I always have loved about you). Listened to to ******'s "giggle giggle goodbye McDonalds" message last night. Thinking about you guys all the time.

To hopefully add some content here...anybody have anything at all to say about Tarvaris' skills? I've read absolutely NOTHING about the guy this off-season. All assumptions seem to be that he'll be in way over his head, but I've not seen any reports at all about how his camp performance. His pre-season stats seem solid, if unspectacular. But there's no glowing "he's our guy, and we're optimistic about where he'll take us" puff piece...no "the Vikings are sunk, this guy stinks" piece. Anybody who's watched him play have anything to say?

Not just assumptions. The reports that I have heard on the radio indicate that he is in WAY over his head. Expect the Vikings to rush their way to 12 losses this season.

Just curious...Minny homer? From where I sit, Jackson has gotten no pub at all. Thanks for the insight.

Yep. Minny homer.

He is in way over his head. He hasn't been terribly accurate on his short throws and the long throws have been a problem all pre-season long - he just can't seem to get the right trajectory. There will be a lot of screen passes thrown this year.

Jackson Improving With the exception of his uninspiring performance in the first drive against the Cowboys last week, Tarvaris Jackson has shown a steady improvement throughout the summer. He beat out Brooks Bollinger for the starting quarterback spot, and he enters the regular season with a very strong hold on the position. According to multiple teammates and coaches, Jackson is much more poised, confident, and decisive than he was at the end of last season. Brad Childress especially likes what he sees in the huddle. “He’s never struggled in the huddle,” said Childress. “Young quarterbacks can whisper sometimes. Sometimes they talk too fast, but all indications are he’s doing a good job communicating in the huddle.”Jackson did not throw a touchdown pass during the preseason, but he also kept the turnovers to a minimum. Jackson had just one fumble - on the opening play at Seattle - and zero interceptions. He’s making quick decisions, even when the blitzes heat up. “I’ve just seen an evolution from that first day of training camp, where you’re firing all the blitzes at him,” said Childress. “Just watching him come through the Seattle game, for instance, and quick decisions, knowing where he wants to go with the ball.” Even though Jackson has shown improvement, he’s likely to stumble at some point during the season. Childress and his coaching staff are fully prepared. “You have to have patience with a guy. You understand there’s going to be bumps in the road and things he hasn’t seen before. It’s really more about how he deals with those things and how he moves forward.”

There's the puff piece I was waiting for...

If he throws for 3500yds or 20 TDs I'll make sure to spell it correctly. But why bother learning to spell it correctly when he'll be an after thought to the NFL in a year or 2?

Its Jason Witten too .......... not Whitten, but people are just stupid in all honesty and won't even pay real attention to names
