For what it's worth I'm probably going to put in a bid for Williams this week, dropping Ford, unless I hear something real encouraging about Ford this week. I love the potential but I'm not convinced he can stay healthy and a foot/leg injury could be problematic the rest of the season.
Absolutely. Assuming both were healthy, though, I'd rather have Ford. However, at this time we don't know when Ford will return. Just as importantly, given his history it's difficult to feel very confident he'll stay healthy even after he returns.

Bingo. Especially in leagues that don't have waivers during the playoffs, it's starting to get near time to dump guys that may have nagging issues, especially if they've yet to put it all together this season.I haven't heard much about Ford yet, but it would take some pretty good news for him to come off my short list for cuts.Chances are good that most Ford owners haven't been relying on him. He's a bench player, and can be replaced with the appropriate type of bench player for one's team, whether that be a steady guy of a swing for the fences guy. (In deeper leagues, one has to swing for the fences to get a steady guy at this juncture.)Though I haven't yet punched my ticket to the playoffs, I'm looking forward to my playoff bench. I'm currently not under the impression that Ford will be there.
