few QsHow big a deal of it is it that the Jags had this franchise LT when they were building a team? I realize the Texans had older banged up Boselli but please ignore that fact. If they had drafted a stud LT would they be far better now? How about the Browns?reword the Q:How different would the (current)Browns or Texans brief history be if they had a stud LT?I see Boselli is on the radio. How is he to listen to? Generally I enjoyed reading what he had to say while he was playing and wound up taking much of what he said as "dead on" accurate. He's quite religious. Does that come into his radio show? like a "holy roller" stereotype speaker?

When they drafted him is was a boring move, even moresoe when you saw the Panthers getting Collins. But after the fact he was the rock that our offense was built on. he and Brunell were best friends, or at least the papers said they were. It was sad to see him go, he was done as a great LT and Hou was willing to releave Jax of some cap room.

How important was Boselli as a LT when Brunell was left-handed?
Brunell being left handed effected Means, Stewart, and Taylor how? When these guys were doing well so was Brunell.

Not to nitpick but when were Means and Stewart 'doing well' with the Jags? Back then the Jags won with the passing game and the passing game only. Part of the reason why the following year after their upset of the Broncos they had to go into Mile High on a ridiculously windy day and couldn't do squat because they couldn't run the ball. It was only at the tail end of their initial run, like 99 or 2000 when their running game actually emerged. And by then they were on the verge of becoming a terrible team and Boselli had become a walking ER unit. Boselli was an amazing talent but IMO got a lot more credit than he deserved back then.

Most teams' defenses are built with the best pass-rusher as the RDE. Sure, he didn't protect the blindside but teams didn't swap their DEs very often.Plus I think he was important just because he got along so well with Brunell and gave Mark a sense of security. The two co-own several Whataburger franchises in town today.

As far as the radio, he doesn't sound very holy rollerish at all. Somebody brought up the quote "Nothing good ever happens after 1 AM" the other morning and he said "Ain't that the truth" but he didn't get on his soapbox. I think he realizes that his job as talk show host isn't to talk at length about his faith. He does a good job but the same station used to have Pete Prisco in the morning and I thought he was better to listen to.
