Jags WR Northcutt Clear Cut Favorite (1 Viewer)

While I agree that he should not be categorized as a bust, the odds are far more favoriable that he will be middle of the road in terms of FF production.
If you could tell after just 2 years Harrison would be out of the league or a backup somewhere and Michael Clayton and Keary Colbert would be two of the higher paid WRs in the NFL. There's certainly room for debate and opinion here

I'm not down on Jones because of his production. I just don't think his playing style translates that well to the NFL WR position. He's a lumbering long-strider who looks out of place as a WR. With his long legs and lack of suddenness, I think he's always going to struggle on short and intermediate routes.

I view him as a good jump ball WR and deep threat who probably won't ever develop into a complete WR.

I agree with your general premise, but Colbert and Clayton both had awful sophomore seasons.

A more telling stat would be the number of WRs who were in this range the first 2 years and did not turn out to be more than a @4 WR FF wise. While I agree that he should not be categorized as a bust, the odds are far more favoriable that he will be middle of the road in terms of FF production.
I am waiting patiently......... ;)I think you will be hard pressed to find many WR's that over the first 2 seasons of their careers have combined over 1000 yards receiving and at least 9 TD's not become good to great WR's down the road.

I can't do the research here at work, but I will look into it when I get home.

Waiting for you to get home. :lmao:

I think it's a huge boost for Jones that Leftwich is still the QB. I will still be taking Jones in drafts this year. He has stretches where he's unstoppable. Unfortunately, he can't stay healthy. But his upside is still so great that I don't think you can do better for a #4 WR. :lmao:

To this day, I never have seen anything from Garrard that he can be an NFL starter now or in the future like I've read in the past from several publications.
