Jaguars @ Saints (1 Viewer)

Pierre Thomas up to his old tricks with a 25-yard pass reception. One of the best screen pass receivers in the game.

Saints held to a FG. Ingram looked OK. Two passes to Graham failed; one tipped at the line, one defended by LB.

Jags and Saints trade 3 and outs. On Saints' 3d down, Lance Moore fumbled and officials missed it. ####### Mularky failed to challenge.

Jennings still running right through the Saints D.

Saints first-team offense still in with 4:00 mins left in 1st half. Brees looking better, hitting Henderson several times and Colston twice to get to JAX 8 yard line.

THoughts on Henderson?Sitting on the wire. Could drop Jon Baldwin, LaFell, Steve Smith (ram).
Henderson is still risky because he's so inconsistent. He should have to opportunity to pick up some of Meachem's targets, but he'll often have a great drive, quarter or game and then just disappear.

Is Sproles playing? Don't see him in the box score.
He's hurt if you check around the internet, been held out of practice, has had soreness in his leg, I think they overused him last year.
I don't think they overused him last year. There is a chance that he will have a few less touches this year if Ingram and Thomas stay healthy, but the Saints won't hesitate to use him just as much this year if they need to.

Gabbert has looked very good stepping up in the pocket. And yes, the Saints have brought pressure. They've been successful running Jennings behind Cameron Bradfield who shifted over to LT in place of the injured Eugene Monroe.

Gabbert's first TD was a strike thrown into traffic to Blackmon.

Quiet night for Marcedes Lewis, they've thrown a couple times to TE Colin Cloherty

Blackmon with a nice stiff-arm

Jags defense having problems with the Saints' screens.

Nice night for Andre Branch at LDE.

Mincey has been outstanding.

Yes, Mincey abused Zach Streif in the 1st half.

Looks like the Saints will be cutting a good running back, either Tavaris Cadet or Chris Ivory. They have both looked very good in training camp and the preseason.

I don't know how the Saints can cut Cadet the way he can return kicks and play receiver. With the pre-season he is having, there will be teams lining up to claim him if he is cut. BTW: I drafted him in the 51st round last week.

Ivory has been fumbling a lot in training game...I'll bet he's getting cut, especially since Cadet is so versitle.Cadet is an excellent late round flyer in PPR leagues.

Actually if Ivory gets cut that probably makes him the better flyer since some time with less than 3RB's ahead of him will pick him up.
