You know, there definitely was, about 3-4 years ago and I can't remember who it was. I keep thinking it was a Houston running back. All I can remember is it was the first time I had seen them do the right thing, which is rest for about a month until it is healed. What bothers the heck out of me about turf toe is that every year a player with turf toe toughs it out and puts up poor/mediocre stats the rest of the season.Trying to gage his buy low value coming off the fearsome turf toe this year.

Yeah - they never really gave him any time off.
The coach was talking about Best getting "through it" today on the radio and having not carried as much of the load these last few weeks b/c of the toe (as if he might go back to carrying a bigger load when/if Best gets past this toe injury) but I just don't know if Best's toes agree with the coach speak.
