Driver is dealing with a quad injury. It wasn't enough to hold him out last week. Just to limit him during the game.
Jones has been very up and down this year. Mostly down. He's made some real boneheaded plays, including a fumble that cost them the Bears game, and a lack of effort on a play that was intercepted. That's why he put up a big fat zero two weeks ago. The coaches put Jordy in his spot after that.
If Driver continues to struggle with the quad injury, Jones could be a decent spot start for a little while. I don't think there's much more to it than that though.
jones gets way too much pub in this forum. hes a solid wr3 that can put up some decent games here and there but thats it. would be foolish to roll the dice and start him IMO. and whoever said that he has better chemistry with rodgers than jennings is on acid
Good week and not mentioned above the increased involvement of Jordy Nelson. He's a great pick-up and hope for increased production but far from startable at this point.
He's a great dynasty stash and might come in handy down the line if driver misses time.......Im starting Jennings this week...glad i got jones on my bench though.... both could be the starting wr for the pack next year..........
that being said i only play him if drivers offically out

Exactly this. Also, anyone who says "Jones has chemistry with Rodgers" did not watch that cluster f*** of an offensive performance against the vikings. I don't think I have ever seen a QB/WR grouping that was that far off as they were monday night.
logic tells me that jones having 100+ yards with all of his catches either getting first downs or leading to touchdowns in a close game against a division rival and driver being old and banged up and having his first 0 catch game in a long, long time means something. finley's injury is also a major factor, and even if driver can play, its not completely out of the question that jones' role is expanded. im not saying its a mortal lock that jones will be a 2nd half producer but if the last guy on your bench doesnt have much value and you have a need at wr, what do you really have to lose?
