James Jones Question About Today (1 Viewer)

I know there is another thread about Jones, but I was really hoping to ask a specific question about today and possibly get some insight from homers.

When Driver was out, Jordy Nelson played in 2WR sets, and Jones came on the field for 3WR sets. Jones had enough snaps to be relevant and had a much better game than Jordy, even though he dropped an easy TD.

My question is - Driver looks back today. Who knows if he will be limited or how effective he will be. My question is strictly regarding on field presence. If Driver is back on the field, and we assume he is in on 2WR sets with Jennings, then who comes in on 3WR sets? Is Jones the sure bet, or will he go back to rotating with Jordy as he did in the past prior to the Driver injury?

Just trying to figure out if Jones will be on the field enough to warrant a start. We all know his inconsistency, just trying to measure his opportunity.

I think the coaching staff was sending Jones a message and that's why Nelson got the start in the last game with Driver out. In my opinion, Jones is clearly the superior talent and the coaching staff knows this but they, like everyone, are frustrated with Jones' inconsistency and his lapses in focus and concentration. Looking at today, if Driver plays I don't like Jones as much as a sleeper pick but I would expect him to be involved as the No. 3 WR. If Driver is limited in any way, then Jones' value soars because I expect the Packers to throw it a lot today. So from a fantasy perspective, I would view Jones as a high-risk/high-reward WR4 today. He could very well bust if Driver is active and healthy. But the potential will be there if Driver still isn't 100%. Based on everything I've heard and read, it doesn't sound like Driver is 100% yet. But he's a tough SOB and if anyone can make an impact at less than 100% it's Driver.

In your view that a WR4 with Driver correct? WR2 without right? Considering we both agree the Packs should throw alot today.
