Right on the top of that...http://www.packers.com/team/depth-chart.htmlBenson is the starter...

Why is this a surprise? It's been telegraphed for over a week. Green can't go full speed right now and until he does and runs better than Benson, it's his gig to lose.http://www.packers.com/team/depth-chart.htmlBenson is the starter...
Actually, if you look up the stats, the Packers do run - they are about the middle of the NFL in the Pass/Run splitBenson is the starter... http://subscribers.footballguys.com/apps/depthchart.php#gnbGreen is the starter, Benson is his back up. Starks is, at best 3rd in the rotation. Packers have switched to a one back offense, which is what Green and Benson do. Starks is a one cut zone block runner, which is the past.
Benson will get to run into the biggest running-lanes hes ever seen in his career (albeit maybe only 9-13 times a game. The Packers dont run).
knock knock - hello? Packers depth chart shows Green as the #1 rb. And he was the one that started the game. Which doesn't mean that much, but clearly the Packers see Green as their RB of the future. I would see Benson getting most plays early, then Green getting more (as the season moves on), in particular since he can catch a pass. Why is this a surprise? It's been telegraphed for over a week. The Packers ranked 26 in Rushing attempts last year but if you took away Rogers' 60 rush attempts they wouldve ranked 32 in rush attempts last year...Actually, if you look up the stats, the Packers do run - they are about the middle of the NFL in the Pass/Run splitBenson is the starter... http://subscribers.footballguys.com/apps/depthchart.php#gnbGreen is the starter, Benson is his back up. I agree.Green may be the guy for now on the depth chart...but Benson will get more carries. Just watch.Green is the starter, Benson is his back up. Starks is, at best 3rd in the rotation. Yes...the depth chart that is shown as "unofficial" lists him there. And yes, he started that game...as Benson had been practicing all of a few days at that point with the team.I do agree that Benson will likely get the most plays early and Green could get more as the season goes on...but obviously that depends on Green being more effective than he has been so far.If Benson is rolling...it simply won't happen.knock knock - hello?
