Jason Campbell draws the Pats at home today. There's a lot of pros and cons to this matchup:
Pro:
Pats pass defense has given up the most yards through the air through 3 weeks.
Pats are missing two CBs and a third one is questionable.
Campbell is 5-1 in his last six starts at home and tends to play better there.
McFadden will keep the D honest and provide a nice outlet for screens/checkdowns.
Denarius Moore is coming into his own.
Pats will score points and the Raiders will need to keep up.
Con:
Campbell is more of a game manger and is not asked to win the game with his arm unless necessary.
The Raiders will try to control the clock with the ground game early. If successful, this will shorten the game.
Jacoby Ford won't be 100% if he even plays.
If the Pats get up early, there will be more passing attempts, but could lead to picks.
Pats are coming off a loss, doubt this makes a difference, but some will sat they'll be "angry".
Campbell has always been mediocre.
Obviously if you have an elite QB option, you're not even thinking about Campbell. But if you've got injuries or medicore options/matchups this week, would you trust Campbell?
