**Lions at Packers** (+2.5, 47.5) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

Thing is the Packers beat themselves. Lions didn’t do much to win this game. Packers just self destructed over and over again. From coaching on down.
Credit to the Lions for the win, though. Tough to win at Lambeau.
Wow. I thought the Lions played really good football. Other than the first drive, I didn’t really think we were a threat to them. They looked to be in control most of the game.
Teams that can out-physical you can make you look real bad. See Chi-Az for further proof.

Detroit deserved that win. They played more disciplined, and game planned for the conditions.

That said, GB made a ton of mistakes and had a lot of self inflicted errors. Add the elements to that and there are reasons to be encouraged. Assuming they clean them up.

Both these teams are top 5 in the NFC.

Im in between. Lions are clearly better and GB made dumb mistakes. Its 10-3 basically going into the half and then the idiotic throw by Love makes it 17-3. Detroit played fine and did what they needed to win.
But it was a game GB made mistakes tgat put it out of reach. From the opening kickoff penalty…to the drops and other unforced errors (how many false starts at home?).

Have to play clean and right now, GB doesn’t seem capable of doing that.
Yeah, I watched the game on DVR in three separate “chunks” and missed some of the “flow” of this game. Looking back, basically drops and penalties derailed the first three Packer drives. That Chris Brooks drop on 3rd down was big. Might have cost us 4 points. No idea why C Brooks was in the game there, but he has to catch that ball.

The false start penalties. Ugh. And at Lambeau?? WTH?? Ugly.

The defense also had no answer for Montgomery and Gibbs. They ran wild all day.

What gets me is the dome team performed flawlessly in the lousy conditions than the team who plays in them 1/2 the season. Unforgivable for GB. Embarrassing.
