**Bills 10-3 at Lions 12-1** (-2.5, 54.5) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

  • Jared Goff has passed QB Bobby Layne (15,710) for the second-most passing yards in franchise history.

  • Amon-Ra St Brown with his 400th catch today, third player with at least 400 through 4 seasons (Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry); also passed Landry's 4-year total, so now the second most receptions in first 4 years

  • 19th 100 yard game for St Brown, 3rd in franchise history

  • career high in yardage for ARSB (11-175-1)

  • ARSB joins Calvin Johnson as the only two Lions with 10 receiving TDs in consecutive seasons

  • Gibbs, Montgomery and St Brown are the first trio (allegedly - this is from Lions PR) with consecutive seasons of 1000 YFS + 10 TDs

  • Goff 31/42 424 4 TDs - 6th game over 400 yards, 10th game with at least 4 TDs (has had 5 twice)

Total yardage is now BUF 551 DET 451 - over 1000

This is the Bills 6th drive over 60 yards

They also had TD "drives" of 26 yards and 5 yards following a fumble and an onside kick

I love Dan Campbell's aggressiveness but sometimes it results in some really bad decisions.
That’s not “aggressive”. It’s stupid.
Kinda my point.
Same. I love Dan Campbell. A man’s man and leader of men. But man IMO he cost them the NFC title last season with some horrendous tactical decisions he made in the second half vs SF.

He needs to really start reeling in some of these….“questionable gambles” he seems to take a tad too often.

Detroit is a Super Bowl team in the NFC.

I expect these two to play again in February.

Buffalo has one hump and it’s a big one to get over. Beat Mahomes and Reid in Arrowhead.
I think Philly will have something to say about Detroit just walking to the SB.

Absurd game. Congrats to Bills and their fans, their D came out early and got some stops and we were chasing the game all night. Lots of talking points, lots of big moments that changed momentum.

Given we held them to a FG after kicking it away with 8 mins left, interesting to think about us kicking it away at 12 mins instead of just trading TDs and eating 4 mins off the clock

Full credit goes to the Bills. Offense chugging all day, and defense got Lions in a hole that they never crawled out of.
Nobody was (seriously) predicting the Lions to go 16-1. They still control their destiny, and just have to come back strong.
We'll have to see about McNeill, and to a lesser sense Dorsey. Last thing they need is more injuries, especially to that D.

Usually they are very defendable decisions and the criticisms are wrong. There was way too much time to do it there. Maybe if there were 5 minutes left. No matter how little confidence you have in your defense, onside kicks are a worst option.

Detroit needs to get healthy on defense.

Gonna have to wait until 2025 for that. Most of the injuries Detroit has taken are season ending. Just awful luck.

Yeah bad decision especially considering you don't get the element of surprise like you used to. That said, he was right about the defense- it was never slow the Bills down for a second.

Carlton Davis just as important too. Campbell said McNeil, Davis and Dorsey are likely done for the season. The offense is going to need to find another gear still to close this season out.

That was a fun game for us Bills fans.

So happy to see so many fair weather Lions fans take a bit of a piece of humble pie. (Michigan resident)

Can’t win ‘em all. Buffalo was ready from the jump, Detroit was on their back foot all day.

Bills have scored 30+ in 8 straight games, the 5th NFL team to do so, and the first since 2013.

Off memory I think that puts the top team TD totals at:

DET 57
BUF 55
BAL 52

Bills & Lions came into the week as the only teams with more than 20 TDs both passing & rushing (think that’s still the case but didn’t look it up.).
