** Lions at Packers** (-2.5, 47.5) CBS 4:25 (2 Viewers)

Rock Ya-Sin (23) & Khalil Dorsey (30) was not part of the plan

looks like Robertson (21) is taking the run down snaps opposite Reed & Dorsey on passing downs

whatever got the stop

Spent our first 2 2024 draft picks on CBs and both are out. Hate that.

At least twice now GB with 3rd and manageable and try deep shots. LeFleur loves doing that…but drives me nuts when you need 5 and just need to sustain a drive more. No real look underneath…frustrating at times.

They had a chance to get the ball back...Anzalone had a good chance to pick one but drops it and Branch picks one but called back because of penalties.

This is sad. I was really enjoying the Detroit hype these past 2 or 3 years. It might be over without Johnson at the helm of the offense.

And yes, this is my week 1 overreaction.

Goff 75 yds passing and an Interception, posters in here mention he isn't very good on the road vs when he''s at home inside the Dome
🤷‍♂️

The Detroit offense doesn't look nearly as explosive as previous seasons. I knew losing Ben Johnson would have an impact, but it looks pretty noticeable.

Plus the line is pretty new. Remember the Lions offense didn't really go off until week 4 last year.

They're also getting zero pressure from their D Line. Just checked the stats. 0 sacks, 0 TFL, 0 QB hits.

You don't have to tell me. Go look in the Lions thread.

Here's mine: someone should explain to Love et.al. that having 27 different receiving targets is not condusive to meaning receiving fantasy production.

there it is

beat ‘em at their own game (4th down)

gg Packer fans

first win over Detroit in Lambeau in 1448 days

see ya on Thanksgiving - 1pm start this year
one of the few times we beat you somewhat recently was a couple thanksgivings ago as i recall. feels good to punch in the mouth instead of getting punched in the mouth

Detroit looks terrible. Goff needs the creativity to make him relevant and that huge top Oline clearly isn't anymore

D was never really good and it looks bad today again

ARSB 5 targets 3-36

1 target no receptions in the 2nd half

Jameson Williams 3 targets 3-18

1 target 1 catch 3 yards (off a scramble bailout) in the 2nd half

hot garbage

Losing Ben Johnson looks to have taken a toll
That had nothing to do with the Lions not blocking, not tackling, not getting any pressure, and not covering anyone. The Lions moved the ball but had 6 points in 3 trips to the red zone. Also, give credit to the Packers. They played great..

It has a lot to do with Goff looking fairly terrible...the guy needs someone to scheme people open for him

if Morton doesn’t turn the play calling around by the bye week MCDC will take the sheet away from him

today looked like Anthony Lynn’s game plans

OL struggled, might take awhile to gell

IDL did their job and Davenport set a good edge - got worn down by the 4th Q but run D was solid (23-75)

absolutely zero pressure, from the front or the rare blitz - wasn’t nearly as aggressive as Sheppard said he was going to be

icing on the cake Parsons gets his first sack

This. And Hutch was nowhere to be found.

It was just bad football from top to bottom.

No play calling works when you don't have time to throw.
