anyone else tired of holding witten on their team after the last 3 weeks

9 @GB 3rec 44yds 0tds 7.9pts

10 @NYG 1rec 7yds 0tds 1.3pts

11 Det 4rec 48yd 0tds 9.2pts

this is a 1.3pt/rec 3 wr/te spot league and

it seems garrett is using more as a decoy. he catches 1-3 balls on first drive usually and then becomes nonexistent.

thoughts on dropping him?

waiver wire pickups available -- graham obomanu blair lee evans

The TE position is so thin this year he is sadly one of the better options available. If you don't have to start a TE, I probably wouldn't start him. Witten always plays well on Thanksgiving though, and Kitna might have to throw a lot for the Cowboys to stay in this one. Don't forget, Witten's 4-48 last week led the team. I'd give him another shot so you don't regret dropping him after another 9-100-1 outing.

they have been throwing the ball more in all of these games-- throwing it to dez, miles, roy, felix, choice, not witten cause he standing nxt to the o-line blocking so kitna can throw

30, 22, and 24 attempts in the last three games is throwing the ball more? Kitna threw the ball more in 2 quarters in the first game again the Giants. If they wanna beat the Saints they're going to have to throw. This isn't the Lions or a trap game against the Giants. I can see Kitna throwing 40+ times like he did against the Jags and Witten was a big factor in that.

I like Witten this week. Hang onto and start him. He's the 3rd TE on the board according to the Football Guys trusty cheat sheet for the week.

I sure hope so I need him in a big way because Vernon Davis is gimpy and I cant chance it n wait to Monday Night for him. Wish me luck

I'm thrilled with his performance so far today. I have had Heath Miller and Ben Watson prior to trading for him two weeks ago, and I've played the wrong option every week so far (I even went with Watson over Witten last week). I finally decided to just drop Watson and live and die with Witten...and this is the first time I've had over 10 points from a tight end all year.

Never drop Witten out of your lineup unless you have Gates (and he's injured) because he still very much an integral part of the offense.

Hey guys I have P Rivers, A Rodgers, and P Manning on my roster. Do you think it's safe to drop K Orton? He's been stinking it up recently, as shown by his season-low performance in week 11.

Well I hope this finally closes the door on any further discussion about this BEAST named Witten.

7 catches 69 yds 2TDs!

Yeah no question he's a blocker all the way to the endzone! :lmao: :lmao:
