Jeff Weaver (1 Viewer)

Gave up 6 runs. Got one out. Left runners on 1st and 3rd. Hargrove didn't look pleased when he came out to the mound with the hook in the first inning.

And to think, Weaver could have done the RIGHT thing and returned to St. Louis where the fans were starting to like him. Instead, he alienates a city by being a whore during the free agent signing period and now, he becomes the Weaver that he's been for the past year or so.

I hope Seattle is happy with Weaver and his 18.26 ERA. :bs: :wall:

Don't get me wrong, as a Cardinals fan, I will probably always have somewhat of a soft spot for Weaver after what he did last October, but anyone with a brain knows that the guy is not worth the money he was asking for in the offseason. But I don't blame Weaver for taking the money and running. It was probably the only real shot he was EVER going to have at a huge payday, and he took it.

I'm still shocked he was able to hang in STL.
So was I, and the more I look at it, it probably was a fluke. Serves him right, I guess. The guy's done.

Never mind Phoenix, he has a vivid imagination and sometimes it skews reality.

I know, because having attachment to the teams you play for is totally wrong. #### Stan Musial and him playing his entire career with one team. #### Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn, too.

:lmao: The Cardinals were the 4th team he was on in his career and he didn't even start last year with the team, he was with the Angels.

Plus, he did have Boras as his agent, who has continued to make a ton of money off the performances of others for his career.Sorry, I had a "moment" there.
