Jennings on sideline, who gets the rock? (1 Viewer)

Who of these 3 benefits the most from Jennings' absence?

Jones streaking down the sideline, Cobb working the slot, Driver finding a way to get open in the red zone. What happens here?

I doubt we'll have a solid enough answer to go on but all three are rosterable IMO...I get some meager return yardage points in a league where I had Jennings so I went with Cobb, figure the small likely increase in production when added to his ability to break one off could mean something.

Green Bay radio station interviewed McCarthy. Cobb will be taking over Jennings role in offense and packages.

anyone else hearing this?

I think Nelson gets more looks. Jones was taking some of Nelson's time here and there the last games, I believe. If Jones has a part in covering for Jennings then Nelson should get back to being on the field more. I believe Rodgers is most comfortable with Nelson and Driver, as well, and since Driver's on the decline I see Nelson getting a slight up-tick in targets. Rodgers spreads the ball around well, though, so I don't think it'll be much.

Plus I own Nelson and it's playoff time so I hope all of what I said above is true. :excited:

This is my speculation, but seems like putting a player like Cobb in Jennings role and keeping Nelson, Driver, Jones and even Finley doing what they're doing make the most sense. So I think that Cobb slides into Jennings position, but then it's a matter of where Rodgers and Flynn throw it. I just can't shake the feeling that Cobb's going to do something with his increased opportunity, especially because he'll also be on field even if other starters being rested.

This is the correct answer, the Fin is looseGO PACK GO
all of a sudden finley is good? am i the only one who noticed he caught zero passes and let one right in his hands get picked? he is not good, he just aint. over rated as i ever seen one player. bump finley right? he aint gonna all of a sudden start being good because a player taking coverage from him in the first place got hurt.1 catch for -3 yards and a fumble is what i see.

To say Finley is not good, is a bit ridiculous IMO. Hes more than talented, his head gets in the way a lot. Targets have been far and few between this year for him and he trys to do way to much with the ball every time he gets something thrown his way.
...regardless, I think him, Cobb and Nelson will prob take in a few more targets per game IMO.

Horrible all around posting. Finley was overrated into this season but to suggest "he is not good, he just ain't" is fairly ridiculous.

The more I think about this, the more I am leaning toward starting both Driver and Jones behind Brandon Marshall. I'm playing vs. the Finley owner so it will be gut check time. He's my brother and I'm going to watch the game with him to boot. Might be our first fistfight in 25 years..lol! I've never beaten him...in a fistfight, but I have mopped the floor with him several times in fantasy football. High risk-high reward strategy though. Does KC stick their best guy on opponents' top receiver generally?

Rodgers will spread the ball around for sure. But if you do hit on the top receiver for the Packers you get points.
