Anybody hearing anything on Shockey's condition and if he'll play this week?

I haven't heard anything. Big Shockey fan here but if and when the Saints go to Jimmy Graham he will be a serious sleeper.

Bumping this thread, particularly for those of us looking at Jimmy Graham. It seems Shockey didn't practice today, any New Orleans homers have a sense for his availability Sunday?

We probably won't know a lot until after Friday's practice, but just in case, it may be a good idea to stash away Graham if you have the room.

Even more so if you play in keeper/dynasty leagues - the team seems to really like his long-term prospects.

Saints run alot of different multiple tightend sets, and Thomas is on the field a lot already (more than shockey in recent games, and already 33 targets to shockeys 44). I suspect his role stays the same, and Graham takes over Shockey's.

Shockey still not practicing Thursday

Shockey was not in pads and thus not on the field at all Thursday during that sliver of practice open to the media.

I don't know much about him, but everything I've read says that he's got very soft hands to go along with the athletic ability.Maybe the Saints homers can chime in.
