As we all know, TDs are unpredictable
I disagree. They are less predictable than yardage/receptions, but they are not "unpredictable" per se.

The Jets were not a particularly high-scoring offense this year... there were only 15 TDs (vs. 17 last year) and even on the ground they scored 6 TDs vs. 15 last year. So, it should be expected that his TDs are down... I think maybe they're "unpredictable" in the sense that they're more subject to how the team's offene performs. The fact remains that Cotchery has been and still is a red-zone target... as I said earlier in this thread, even last year there were a number of weeks where he was targeted in the end zone but a penalty or otherwise called it back. In 2007, he was targeted 15 times inside the 20, catching 8 of those for only 1 TD. In 2006, he was 8 for 21 with 1 TD. By contrast, Coles was 6/16 inside the 20 (for 4 TDs) and 9/15 last year.
