The ankle injury Jesse Chatman re-aggravated in Week 13 is not expected to prevent him from playing Sunday against the Bills.

Chatman will probably go through limited practices this week, however, and the potential of him re-injuring himself will be there against Buffalo. The Dolphins have hinted at leaning towards using a running back committee in the final four games. With John Beck struggling mightily, Chatman is only a flex option despite a favorable matchup. Coach Cam Cameron says a determination on Jesse Chatman's (ankle) status for Sunday's game will be made later in the week.

Early indications were that Chatman would face the Bills, but that seems to be in some doubt now. Several Dolphins starters sat out practice as a precaution Wednesday, but it appears his injury may be more serious.

Jesse Chatman (ankle) missed his second straight practice Thursday.

This is a bad sign. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel says there's "growing concern" that Chatman won't be available against Buffalo. If he's not, Samkon Gado would start and lose snaps in the passing game to rookie Lorenzo Booker. At this point, owners shouldn't be counting on Chatman to be a go. Dec. 6 - 4:48 pm et
