Jon Kitna going forward (1 Viewer)

Anybody think that Kitna might be ok going forward? Granted he had four int's last week, but at least 2 maybe even three of those were not his fault. He also threw for 379 yards and looked pretty decent vs the Giants.

Could Kitna be a #1 qb going forward?

His schedule over the next few weeks is as follows.

@ Green Bay

@ NYG

vs Detroit

vs Saints

@ Colts

vs Eagles

vs Washington

@ Arizona

I think he's useful in a QBBC. I think he looked really good last week. Those INT's were almost comical, it was like his WR's were setting a volleyball.

I don't think you want to start him against the Giants. I'd have reservations against starting him vs the Vikings and maybe even the Saints.

Be very wary against teams with a strong pass rush. GB, NYG, @Colts. The Oline is a sieve and he doesnt move that well. Romo's mobility covered up a lot of oline sins. Kitna can't do that.

He looked effective moving the ball against NYG considering it was his first start in 2 years. I think he'll be throwing the rock all day.

I have him ranked as a top 12 qb moving forward. One of those interceptions was his fault, and a second one he shared the blame. But two of them were absolutely absurd. I've rarely seen anything like what his 'receivers' were doing.

 this is what scares me about this week in Green Bay. I see him running for his life but still think I'm going to start him. My other option isn't good either.

Well, one thing that should help 'ol John is the fact that the Cowboys are still really fighting and have a coach that won't allow anything less.Or not.
OR he could be on a bad team playing out the string and will be throwing a ton for the remainder of the season. As long as he doesn't get killed, he should put up about 3 or 4 300 yd games. Definitely worth a shot for those that are looking for a late season spark.

At the rate the NYG are knocking out QB's he may only have another week+ left in his season.
