I worked with her step father, it destroyed the marriage not surprisingly. She was just declared legally dead earlier this week by her father, the mother was against the move and still holds out hope she is alive. What a horrible crime and he earned whatever happens to him in Peru. He is going to be tried in Alabama on extortion charges (telling her where the body is). Scumbag.
