Jordy Nelson (1 Viewer)

I wonder if cobb is the real value play here. In return leagues only, of course. He looks like a jacoby ford type, which this offense doesn't really have. I wonder how good Cobb's hands are.

Wow! That is like my first retweet:)

Seriously, still think he is a little undervalued by some because of the "too many mouths to feed" argument. With a 70% catch rate three years in a row and Coach Speak talking about using him more... if his targets go up just one a game from 6 to 7 (96 to 112), then we are talking over 78 receptions. Even with the inevitable "regression to the mean" of his TD rate, I can see 10 TDs at a minimum.

The biggest threat would be an emerging Cobb and if Finley were to focus (60% catch rate does not cut it). Still waiting for Jones to go somewhere where he will be appreciated, and Driver is still hanging around... but I think we can all agree that Jordy has emerged as the #2 in the pecking order for a potent passing offense.

I think that Jordy's targets will increase this year. Probably fewer TDs, but he has a knack for getting behind a defense. Top 20 WR for years to come.

Apparently, every time you talk about Nelson it comes true. I have Nelson in a dynasty league, keep talking. :excited:

He sure looked good last night. I just traded him and Colston away for Sidney Rice and McCluster in a PPR dynasty about 4-5 weeks ago. Now I'm starting to think that was a mistake. DOH.
Wow, re-reading this thread I can't think of a worse trade. I like Colston in PPR too much to ever get rid of him for an injured Rice after the 2010 season, but you have to be kicking yourself to get nothing from Rice and McCluster while Colston and Nelson were the #11 and #2 WRs (in FBGs rankings) and nothing looks to be much different for the next few years.

Are these the same green bay fans that have been pissing on James Starks? Whole lotta anti-homerism in this thread.
