Joseph Addai (1 Viewer)

I have read that he practiced fully yesterday and today.

After losing Fred Jackson I went on a waiver wire rampage.

Got Gerhart, Spiller and Addai.

Figure between them Sproles and Ray rice I should be able to cover a good chunk of F. Jax fantasy value by playing matchups ( Hope AP is out for some time!!!!)

He's finally healthy and coming off a bye against the worst run D in the league. In PPR scoring, his floor should be at least 10 points.

Me too, not many other options to go with this week. Carolina is a juicy matchup so you almost have to take the chance regardless of which back you own, Brown or Addai.

While Addai looks healthy now, I'm not sure the team will thrust him right back into the starting lineup.

The season is long lost, and it's not like they were doing much when Addai was healthy. Addai clearly isn't the future, so Caldwell may just want to more fully evaluate Brown and Carter for next year.

IF he is healthy he will start. The only thing Caldwell should be evaluating is how to win this game.

I don't think Caldwell is capable of evaluating his own navel

True, although I'm not sure what Addai brings to the table at this point more so than Brown or Carter, with the exception of protecting Painter or Orlovsky (whoever starts).

Currently working out my flex to Julio Jones or Addai/Brown. Considering I'm starting Ryan and Gonzalez, I don't want to go all-in with ATL (overrated and strangely coached) and any RB vs. CAR is just too tempting so I'm determined to go Addai/Brown... which is the big question after all.

So, in terms of just ability and trend I like Brown a lot more than the aging and average Addai anyway. He's only really had one good game all year and it was against PIT (which is illogical) and it was only like 15 points anyway. Brown really has solid RB2 skillset when he's not injured. He won the job from Carter and I really think if he gets 15+ car he can put up 80 and a td. Even in a timeshare situation he should stand out...

my question is how do you think caldwell plays this game. As has been posted it would make the most sense to just start brown outright in order to a) have the best chance to win this game as brown has actually been his most productive back really. b) cadwell clearly has more faith in brown than carter who was listed above him on depth chart, so it's safe to assume he's "won" the job c) his team is not exactly good and there's always the chance that newton can score quickly, nullifying any high production day from an RB even against a #### CAR run-d.

I don't know, I should make cliffs for all of this but, i really feel like this might be the highest waiver upside play that i'd like to feel better about before noon tomorrow.
