High ankle sprain according to Jim Mora.

Dr Bramel, questions:

I keep hearing words like "significant" and "substantial" to describe the amount of time Josh will miss, and I've actually seen some media sources say 4-6 weeks.

I'm trying to make a roster decision, on whether I can afford to hold on to the guy through the injury.

My questions are, should I assume a 4-6 week timetable? It seems like we saw Timmons come back after 2 weeks, Beanie come back after 2 or 3 weeks, and these were high ankle sprains where they both reportedly re-injured during their come back. Couldn't we expect something along those lines (2-3 weeks) for Wilson?

Or is it too hard to say without knowing the exact severity of the sprain?

Unless we get specific information about the severity of the sprain, I'd assume a minimum four week injury. More mild sprains (eg Carson Palmer this offseason) may come back in 2-3 weeks, but it's unusual.

Also, from Monday through Wednesday, I'm usually around, but not around. :blackdot: I'll do some surgical strikes here and try to keep up with AC stuff, but most of my time is spent on the weekly content. PMs and emails are the best way to get my attention early in the week.

No worries, thanks for the insight Jene, it's worth waiting for.

If we work under the 4 week assumption, when he does come back, Trufant will likely also be back and take his starting CB role. Wilson just lost most of his value in idp/return yard redraft leagues.

don't know...i would assume so or maybe they'll work him in slowly being that its his first week back...he is a great kr so its really hard to say
