From RotoWorld:

Julius Jones left Sunday night's game after taking a big hit from Brian Urlacher, but said afterward that he's fine.

Jones needed assistance making his way off the field and reportedly complained of dizziness on the sidelines. Healthy or not, Jones once again took a back seat to Marion Barber against the Bears.

Guy had three pretty nice plays negated by penalties. Of course the penalties may have sprung him for the nice gains.
I agree. I thought he played well last night and prior to his injury I thought he was the better RB between him and Barber (although Barber looked great on his TD catch). I'll say what I said in the game thread - I don't know why the Cowboys don't throw more screens to Jones. He looked great on his one catch last week and looked great on his catches last night. He's very good in space and one would think the Cowboys would want to get him in space to take advantage of his speed.

I am starting julius next week against the rams due to portis having a bye. Jones and mb3 should both have nice weeks against a poor rams D. I can jones having 80 yds and a td.

I have Jones in 2 leagues and i dont care. He lost his job to S Morris. Meaning he is WW material in a redraft. 40-60 yards a game is trash

Update from RotoWorld:

Julius Jones suffered his second concussion of the season in Sunday night's game. The Cowboys are calling it a "slight" concussion.

I wonder if they will be cautious with JJ and sit him out. MB3 alone in the backfield vs the Rams =

Its bad news when you get concussions in quick succession. From what I understand it's driven lots of folks out of the league. For his sake I hope that doesn't happen.

This really isn't good for Jones. Don't they usually rest a player for a couple of weeks if they keep getting concussions like this?

Jones wasn't on the injury report announced by head coach Wade Phillips Monday, but if he suffers another there's a chance he could be shut down. Jones said he was injured on the second play of the fourth quarter. He says he'll be fine and should play against St. Louis in Week 4.

If he has had 2 in 3 weeks that is not good. If they did shut him down BarberIII would become fantasy gold. He would probably finish #1 among ALL RB's. He's #1 currently and doesn't even get all the carries :bag:

Running back Julius Jones said he is looking into trying a new helmet after suffering a second concussion in the first three games of the season.

Jones was not listed on the team's injury report Monday.

He said he suffered a slight concussion in the fourth quarter against the Bears. Jones said that is why he didn't return to the game.

On the second play of the fourth quarter, Jones gained 22 yards to the Bears' 4 where he collided with Brian Urlacher and Danieal Manning. He stayed on his knees for a few seconds, then Patrick Crayton walked over to try to help him to his feet. Two trainers came out to check on Jones and all three walked slowly to the sidelines. The play was nullified because of a holding penalty.

Jones, who finished with seven carries for 26 yards, said he will be fine.

Every concussion you have increases the chance of having another one. I can't believe this isn't bigger news to people. Maybe your title is right.
