Okay, it is June 2nd and I have not been able to find a list of guys that got cut over the weekend for salary cap purposes. Are June 1st cuts happening less and less or is this year a strange year?

They changed the rules on salary cap cuts last season where teams could cut people before June 1st but get credit for them after June 1st. IIRC, they could do that for 2-3 veteran players with the intent that it would give players more time to find a new team and not get lost in the free agency shuffle.
This has caused fewer teams to have players cut on June 1st. The inflated salary cap also has a lot to do with this, as teams with cap room would rather burn up cap room sooner rather than extend cap hits into the future. The increasing salary cap has left many teams far under the cap, and usually the cap strapped teams were the ones clearing out players on June 1st.
