This sounds like bull#### to me.Porn doesn't glamorize the behavior is the same way 50 Shades has done.Either way, it just seems weird to see hand-wringing about unrealistic depictions of sex and relationships when it's women's sexual fantasies. Any tour of erotic content directed toward men will unearth a lot of unrealistic depictions of sex that bear no relationship to what most actual couples do. And that may very well be harmful. I'm not trying to diminish it. It's just that the anti-porn voices against that aren't given such a prominent platform.
Jesus, Joe, how do you expect us to teach our kids ingenuity and problem-solving if we are going to go ahead an do everything for them.so maybe this is new thread worthy but what age would it be appropriate for a father to share his playboys with his son?
So I guess you tell everybody at work that you going to tonight to watch an 18 year old have sex after getting picked up by a bus. This sounds like bull#### to me.Porn doesn't glamorize the behavior is the same way 50 Shades has done.Either way, it just seems weird to see hand-wringing about unrealistic depictions of sex and relationships when it's women's sexual fantasies. I don't think it's particularly a secret among people who know me that I've viewed porn, no. And I've had water cooler discussions about Game of Thrones, a show where a character penetrated a woman with a crossbow quarrel. I don't see anyone treating 50 Shades of Gray as "glamorous." From what I've seen, its treated as a trashy novel for horny wives.
She probably told her friends mom about it.Anyone want to bet that the OPs daughter has read the book by now?
I'd say a good thing. My wife has absolutely no interest in either the book or the movie. Can't decide whether that's a good or bad thing.
That's exactly what I'd do.She's 13 and her mother gave her the book. Reactions?
I am flabbergasted and really want to limit my daughter's exposure to the family.
First time looking at this thread. The OP has the right idea about limiting time with well read kid. I'll try and catch up and see how it's going. She's 13 and her mother gave her the book. Reactions?
