Just received an interesting trade offer (1 Viewer)

I'm currently in 1st place in this league and I have yet to make a trade. Strike that, I've made two trades, but they were both rejected by the league. I guess they don't like seeing me strengthen my team or something.

Anyway, checked my inbox today and received the following:

Roger Clemens and John Maine

for

Carlos Zambrano

I have Zambrano, who has obviously been awful so far this year. But, I think I'm going to accept anyway as the way I see it, Maine and Clemens are starters on two good teams and the Cubs suck. I am 2nd in K's and WHIP, and 4th in ERA. Middle of the pack in wins.....way in first place in saves. I've been trying to trade away a reliever forever, but no one wants them, so I just keep them in my lineup and stockpile saves.

Think I should accept? Pretty sure I'm going to, and about 80% sure it will be vetoed by the league.

I think at this point I would. Maine has pitched very well this year, more so than Z. Getting Clemens will be a nice little addition for the rest of the year.

Is this a re-draft or keeper?

I never understood how a trade made TO someone gets vetoed. It is not a good trade, of course, but the guy wants zambrano. What are you supposed to do, trade him for a bag of seeds and the phillies ball boy? Anyways, take it and see what happens.
