Kamara or BPowell for rest of year? (1 Viewer)

Looking to add RB in 1/2 PPR league. Alvin Kamara and Bilal Powell are both available on WW. Both have potential in committee, and both appear to huge huge upside if things go their way. Who's the better add? thanks for input...

When Forte is out of the lineup, Powell performs like a decent RB1. It was that way last year as well. But as long as Forte is getting a fair amount of touches, Powell will be hot garbage. Also, don't let this week's stat line fool you too much. He got nearly half his point total (13pts) from a fluke run where the defense thought he was down and gave up on the play before they should have.

It kind of depends on what you are looking to get.  If you are wanting a lottery ticket that could pop then I would go with Kamara.  If things break right the Saints offense is much better and will push his ceiling much higher.  I don't see this hitting without some injury help.

Powell has a bigger role (and much better if Forte is out for an extended time) so if you want a little higher floor (and this is debatable if it is even higher) then I could see going with Powell. 

Personally, I would probably take the chance and go with Kamara because I think McGuire will start to take more and more away from Powell.

Powell is the safer pick (when Forte is out) where is Kamara has the bigger upside.

Would be nice to see your roster to know whether you are just fishing for a lottery ticket or need a weekly starter.  Personally, I am trying to trade for Kamara in every league since I see his ceiling crazy high and his floor pretty decent in PPR.  If you need a weekly starter though, I'd go Powell since his floor seems to be higher and more consistent for touches.
