Kansas City Chiefs (1 Viewer)

What I've seen is that all Chiefs fans wear blinders and overrate their team which has made me lots of money taking bets with Chiefs fans.
Not all. Take a gander at ChiefsPlanet.com, the most active Chiefs' forum on the net, and tell me that all Chiefs fans wear blinders. There are a HELL of a lot more objective (often pessimistic) Chiefs fans on there than i've seen at the OrangeMane.com, RaiderFans.net, and so forth.
Ok...maybe not ALL Chiefs fans, but 97.39%. It's still easy money for me. I haven't met one that didn't pick the Chiefs to go 14-2 this year. :loco:

Find me one fan that said 14-2. Best I saw was 12-4. I figured on 10-6 with an 0-2 start...even with Green.BTW, KC is actually 2-0 vs MIA the last few years, including last years Friday game where KC traveled that morning down to FLA to beat out the hurricane.

The Herminator strikes. The destroyer of offense. :lmao:
Idiotic. No Willie Roaf, no Trent Green, a mediocre Will Shields... that destroys offense.
Have never owned an offesive player on a Herminator team...Never will either.
More fool you. Larry Johnson is on pace for 2400 all-purpose yards, and you know the touchdowns are coming with creampuffs on the horizon in weeks 4 and 5.
I knew that when Green laid an egg before he was destoryed last week. They were REALLY putting up the points with the HERMINATOR.

No actually having watch Herm Edwards the last few years with the Jets the KC offense is going to have a long year. LJ will get his yards and scores like Martin was able to when he was healthy with the Jets but the rest of the offense will suffer the whole year. The play calling will be so brutal some weeks you will be shocked.
Forget about 'The Jacket'. He needs a straight one because he is not thinking clearly. He's been HERMINATED. BTW, Larry Johnson WISHES he was FRANK GORE.

Herm's not calling the plays. Blame solari(sp?)
Herm was not calling the plays in NY either but it was brutally conservative. It appears pretty much the same thing here.
Some people are clueless. Herminator is the one who made the classic statement, 'I like to keep it close and TRY and win it in the 4th quarter'. You don't have to call the plays to reign in the offense. e picks his OC ya know. Incredible. :wall:

Hey buddy I think you have problems throwing stones at a team who just almost won in DEN......a loss is a loss but to go to DEN with a backup QB and lose on a coin toss in OT....not bad and it bodes well for the rest of teh seaosn.Try again pal.
anyone wanna give me $50 when KC is at WORST 9-7....if I were to listen to the great Dickey Moe the Chiefs would be going 3-13 and we would all be jumping off bridges here in KC.Dickey let me take $50 from you....I am beggin' ya buddy---in your pompousness and all, be a man and take the bet........
Well, being 0-2, you're saying that at worst they'll go 9-5 the rest of the way? Presumably you would find a lot of takers there. I would say 9-7 is a perfectly reasonable projection for KC (as it was prior to the season), but to think they have virtually no shot at finishing below that (if not substantially below that) isn't fair; they could easily have a losing record this year.

I agree with this plus I'm just not a Herm fan lately.

Fellas... I am as big of a Chef fan as they come, but even I predicted no better than 9-7 B4 this season even started. They have alot to prove, as does Herm. Carl Peterson "might" be the worst GM in the game (the only exception being his decision to draft LJ). Losing BOTH STARTING OT's before the season started is a ridiculous hump to get over, let alone putting 2 NEW players in... Turley not even on the team last year and Sampson being hurt all last year!!!! What else could we possible expect this year, I mean seriously!!! i hate to say this, but i saw this coming before pre-season. not that i would have expected much better with Dickie back there, but its gonna take a little while. Plus playing in the AFC does not help the cause either.

sorry for rambling.

The DEF vs DEN has opened a lot of eyes and possibilities for this KC team to be able to win consistently and win ugly but KC has to improve the OFF or loosen up the OFF a bit more to keep the chains moving to actually help the DEF and score some points. You're not going to consistently win games where you score less than 14 points. If you only score 14 points it's too easy to get screwed by a lucky play, a good play, a poor call or penalties. The point marging will just be way too close to enable the team to be a consistent winner.

Green should be an improvement in a deeper passing game or a passing game at all and those plays should be there if the DEF is looking for the run.

OFF on any good team is about keeping the DEF off balance and the best way to do this is to have a balanced OFF. I'm not expecting an OFF like last year due to the KC decline at OL but it wouldn't surprise me at all to see KC turn this around if they throw the ball a little bit more and let the DEF do their thing.

At this point KC could go 5-11 just as easily as it could go 11-5. Too much uncertainty but an incredible amount of upside considering what many believe at this (0-2) stage.
