We are heading to KC for a few games and was just wondering where visiting teams stay.

Not sure about baseball teams but I'm pretty sure when football teams come in they stay at the downtown Mariott, about 15 minutes West of the stadium off 70.

According to the newest Royals media guide I have, which is 2005, they stay at the Fairmont on the Country Club Plaza

BTW, you will notice how different the place looks -- basically a new ballpark from an experience standpoint. I have been to three games this season and it is NICE!
