Keep 2! (1 Viewer)

12 team full PPR. The player you keep is drafted a round ahead of the previous years draft position. For instance, if I kept a player who was drafted in the 5th round the year prior I would be taking him in the 4th round of this years draft. Also, if I were to keep two players who were both round 1 draft picks, they would cost me my 1st and 2nd round draft picks this year.

Keep Two!

Ezekiel Elliot (1st round)

Micheal Thomas (1st round)

David Montgomery (3rd round)

Allen Robinson (5th round)

Marlon Mack (8th round)

Devonta Freeman (15th round)

Lamar Jackson (12th round)

I would keep Jackson and whichever you like better or think there will be less studs available of Elliott and Thomas.   I am a Jackson believer and think his floor is too high to pass in the 12th round.

It would be helpful to know which pick in the draft you have. In any case, I would keep Jackson and Thomas.

I am struggling between keeping Elliot and Thomas vs keeping Jackson and (Thomas or Elliot). The value of Jackson in the 12th is high. Also, something I failed to mention is I would only be able to keep Elliot for this next season, Thomas and Jackson would be eligible for the next two seasons.

Solidifies my opinion.

This pushes Thomas over Elliot for me and makes my choices as Jackson and Thomas.

Much of the risk with Jackson is that you will have to draft him high to get him (most likely) and the injury risk is more dramatic in that spot.  However, getting him in the 12th round really minimizes that risk damage which really increases his value.

That changes things quite a bit for me...I then go with Thomas and Jackson.

based on this, I would keep Jackson and Thomas

I would think it's Thomas and Jackson by a solid amount.  Knowing which pick you had would be helpful. Doubt you know that yet.

Jackson would be a must at 12 no matter what the scoring. Robinson with a fifth is a good value also. Can you take a guess at what the other teams are doing? If they are all protecting 1st rounders then I would let Thomas and Zeke go as you will be able to draft them in the first round anyway.

I disagree here.  With only two keepers going after "value" isn't necessarily worth it.  For a difference maker like Jackson where his risk is injury when taking so high it really helps to alleviate that risk with the 12th round price tag.  You are getting arguably the #1 scorer in the 12th round which really negates his risk.

However, the difference between Thomas and Robinson really isn't worth that marginal difference in value gained.  It's only one player.  I would rather get the guy that is the better player at that point.  You aren't going to get a better player than Thomas in round 1 and IF all the other owners are keeping 1st round picks that means that the first round talent is also not going to be available.  All the more reason to take the guy you want in Thomas or Zeke.

Of Thomas is the #1 guy. Yes you take the #1 guy. If everyone of protecting a 1st rounder than you would have the first and only choice in the first round, so protect your 5th round guy, take Thomas with your pick and you gain a edge. It’s a gamble. Weight the down side calculate your and make your decision.

Have to keep Thomas and Jackson given that info.  Having Jackson as your 12th round keeper essentially alllows you to draft nothing but RBs/WRs/TE with picks 2-11.
