Keeper advice (Thomas vs Thielen) (1 Viewer)

12-team, PPR w/ 100yard bonuses..... 2 keepers with $15 being the keeper min and +$5 from last years draft to keep if above $15..........$200 auction draft.......18 slots.....start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/FLEX(RB-WR-TE)/FLEX(WR-TE)

1st keeper = Kittle $15

2nd keeper ?? = M Thomas @ $45 or A Thielen @ $25 ??

Please help with this one....get a better discount for thielen so leaning that way, also since I couldnt see even touching M Thomas next season @ $50.........BUT almost all the top 20 players are taken in my league.  Keeping Thomas may be my only chance to have a top 10 player on my roster this season and hes such a solid floor PPR beast.

Thanks!

I think keeping Thomas is the way to go, especially if you feel that the other top players are going to be taken.  He's a stud and it's hard to not even want to keep him.

I think I'd go Thomas as well. If all the other top 20 players are essentially kept as you state above, I'd imagine that someone like Thomas would likely go for significantly more than the $45 you'd be keeping him for as the best player available.

Even though the "value" isn't as good as Thielen's I think the talent is far superior and worth the increased cost.

Please help with mine:

A ot would depend on how many WR's ranked ahead of Thomas are kept but I think I would go Thielen because of the price.

I anticipate the following WRs to be taken:

D Hopkins, D Adams, Ty Hill,  JuJu, K Allen, A Cooper, J Edelman, R Woods, DJ Moore, C Ridley

I am not a fan of Thomas.  I think he is great but he doesn't seem to have the ceiling I want which is why I put him below the other guys.  I have never had hima and don't see me getting him as someone will always take him before I would.

I also really like Thielen.  His "struggles" to end last year were based on two things.  The o-line was terrible so Cousins had no time to throw or let downfield patterns develop and they played against teams they were able to run on and jumped out to some big leads so didn't throw as much.  I don't think he will be as down as he was to end the year.  I think he will be in the top 12 for WR's when the year is done.

All that to say that I would take the savings on Thielen.
