I am playing in a 1/2 ppr league where I can keep one player. I have the 10th pick of the 1st round. My best two options are to either keep Julio Jones in the 1st round or Marlon Mack in the 10th round.  I'm leaning towards keeping Marlon Mack he's projected to be a 3rd round pick. That's a really good value in the 10th round. Who do you guys think I should keep?

that's pretty tough.  i'm not that big on mack overall and i doubt he can be a true difference maker, but i suppose that you are right that the value is better for Mack and easier to get comparable talent for Jones, though I guess there is also the issue that the 10th pick of the 1st round is what, pick 22-ish after keepers?  or maybe better, since others are making similar judgments as you.

i guess i lean slightly toward mack, but have never played in a league that uses the rule, so i don't have the best experience.

Mack is a better value. I love Julio, but that 1st round price tags hurts.

With a keep 1 only I usually go with just the best player.  It's basically a redraft so treat it that way.

In this case I would want to try and project keepers and available options at pick 10 if you didn't keep Julio.  If you have options you like better then keep Mack and see who lasts.  If Julio is by far better than who might be available at 10 then just keep Julio.

Mack in the 10th is clearly the better value but, Jones is clearly the better player. Plus, like Long Ball Larry said earlier, Jones is really like pick 22, now that's great value for him.

I would lean towards Julio Jones in this case.
