Keeper help (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone,

I'd love y'alls help with my upcoming keeper decision. Here are some details about my league: 0.5 PPR, start: 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 3 IDP. Each team only gets 1 keeper from last years draft.

I took 2nd place last year (thanks Gurley) so I'm drafting 9th overall. Some of the league members have already said who they're keeping so here are people already off the board: OBJ, Corey Davis, Davante Adams, Derrick Henry, Leonard Fournette and Stefon Diggs. I'm not sure who the others are keeping but hopefully this helps give an idea of who is gone and who might be available when it comes to me at 1.09.

My keeper options are: 1st round = Zeke; 3rd round = Kareem Hunt; 6th Round = Michael Thomas

Using my leagues scoring system, the FBG draft list has Zeke at #2 overall, Hunt at #12, and Michael Thomas at #17. My initial thoughts are that my decision is between Zeke and Hunt since the RBs that will be available when it gets to me at the first and third rounds will be pretty mediocre. It would be pretty nice to get an elite RB1 in Zeke at 1.09 but I'm also intrigued by getting Hunt at #29 overall. I'm curious to hear y'alls thoughts and really appreciate any advice.

Thanks,

I'd keep Zeke.  It's likely that Thomas or Hunt, or someone of equal quality would still be available on the turn if you still want him in the second round, but it's very unlikely that someone with the quality of Zeke will be available.

I typically look at leagues that only keep one player as a complete redraft and usually just keep the best player.  This is especially true in your situations since you are drafting 9th.  The easy keeper is Zeke.  It is great value as the 9th pick.

Am I right in guessing that only ODB (1st) and Fournette (3rd)  have values in the first three rounds (based on ADP from 2017) of the six players you listed that others are saving?   Assuming that one of the owners that you have not listed saves a 1st rounder, one a second rounder, and one a 3rd rounder, In the Zeke versus hunt decision you are looking at:

Zeke (#2), pick worth #14, pick worth #34

Or Pick worth #11, pick worth #15 and Hunt (#12)

Assuming the second round picks are equal, (Say either Keenan Allen or Michal Thomas), the questions is which RB pairing do you like more:  (Zeke + McCoy or Drake) OR (Hunt + Cook)?

Personally, I prefer Hunt plus Cook.
