Keeper League Draft Stategy (1 Viewer)

What are your thoughts on a winning draft strategy in these two different keeper league cases. Assume 6pts for all tds, no ppr and a standard 12 team league - start QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, K, Def, 2IDP, 1 RB/WR flex. Lets also assume its a league where u can keep 2, 3 or 4 guys with no loss of any round during the draft.

Scenario 1: You are a new guy with no keepers or a team with bad keepers. Over half of the teams have good to great keepers. Do you try to draft for value and hope u hit on more sleepers and break out players than everyone else? Do you draft the best players at every position even if u have to take them a few rds before adp giving urself a solid team with no depth? Or do u do something else to try and gain ground?

Scenario 2: Flip it -- You have stud keepers. Do you play it safe and draft solid, but unspectacular guys? Do you go value and mix in vets with sleepers to give urself a solid all around team with a few breakout guys? Or do you take more chances and try to blow everyone out of the water?

Just trying to get some general discussion on how to overcome or take advantage of ur starting position in a keeper league.

Scenario 1: I'd try and get a few rookie RB's so if 1 of them hits it big you have a keeper for next year, maybe 2. It also depens where you draft and who's available obviously but since your saying no ppr and 6 pt passing TD's then most good QB's are probably being kept and your going to need to stack up elsewhere. If Cutler isn't being kept in your league, I'd grab him ASAP. But again, it all depends who's available.Scenario 2: Blow everybody out of the water. That's what I did in my draft this year with 2 keepers. My team is in my sig.Just take the best player available based on your needs and league scoring.
