Miami (FL) S Kenny Phillips has declared for the 2008 NFL Draft.
Phillips (6-2/210) started three seasons for the 'Canes. He has experience both in the box and as a cover free safety, ala LaRon Landry last year. Good workouts could solidify Phillips as a first-round, possible top-15 pick.
Phillips is very, very talented and depending upon what team he goes to and how he is used, could be a potential impact IDP player.
