Kevin Jones RB Det (1 Viewer)

Sal Pal's report is that the team expects him to start. But, that was last night. I'd be curious to hear any reports from this morning's warm-up.

I fully expect him to play/contribute. The question is how much?

Local news says he is supposed to play today. But I would not expect much against the Philly D out of him.

FOXSports.com's John Czarnecki reports that Lions offensive coordinator Mike Martz will use Kevin Jones "a lot if he gets off to a good start."

The Lions openly have said they only want Jones in on 15-20 plays because he's still not 100 percent after Lisfranc foot surgery. But since the Lions figure to pass frequently as usual, they'd be smart to use Jones as much as possible. Jones is a flex option, but we'd wait until next week to use him to make sure he can play enough snaps.

According to NFL Total Access, he is supposed to start today but there was no talk about how much he'd play after that.

Sal just confimed KJ is playing today...I still wouldn't plug him in your fantasy lineup unless you're in a 14-16 person league that starts 3RB's.

Lions | K. Jones will play Week 3

Sun, 23 Sep 2007 08:11:32 -0700

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports Detroit Lions RB Kevin Jones (foot) will play Week 3.

Nothing new really, but Jay Glazer just reported KJ will play, but not listed as a starter.

Sounds like the gameplan is still 15-20 snaps.
