How good of a NFL player will Kevin Smith be? Who does he remind you guys of? I have not seen to many highlights or anything about him.. Lets talk about him and see what everybody thinks..

He's talented but I question the level of competition he faced. My gut says he'll be a boom or bust guy like Chris brown

Reno Mahe
Wow. :goodposting: Mahe is physically different, plays different (he's a scatback/punt returner), and had different expectations coming out of college (he wasn't even drafted). I fail to see how he compares to Kevin Smith. If you're saying that Kevin Smith will be a marginal special teams guy you could still come up with a better comparison than Reno Mahe. The only reasons Mahe even has a job in the NFL is because he can safely catch punts and he's from Andy Reid's alma mater.

It was really just a joke. Sorta like the other couple of replies. Mahe was the first guy that came to mind that is just a backup without any real chance to start.I tihnk the real question is - with all the possible examples in the NFL, why on earth did Mahe pop into my head? What's wrong with me? :bag:

Let's just say that ten years from now, the most famous Kevin Smith will be the director of Clerks and Dogma. I do not like Smith at all. I feel he lacks the explosiveness, vision, and speed to be a quality back in the NFL. I like the Brown comparison. The difference is Brown has more speed and explosiveness than him in my opinion. I would not be that suprised if he even went undrafted. Any team using a Day 1 pick on him is wasting a pick in my opinion.
