Kickermania with Mike Herman is pretty solid.

But how come when going into Custom Cheatsheets under Kicker by the same Mike Herman, the rankings are totally different?

I don't get this at all, are there 2 Mike Hermans doing this?

Yeah, saw the same thing. The MyFBG ranking tool (doing Kickers, Herman) has different rankings (and was posted before the Kickermania pdf) and I took a kicker off the rankings last night. Then I saw different rankings this AM on the Kickermania PDF.

Usually Herman is pretty good.I really haven't charted his predictions against Dodds.I'm just wondering why there is a difference between both of Herman's predictions.

Both fantasy sites I use have the exact same problem. They put out a a nice Kicker article with rankings based on in depth statistics. Then they put out a different set of rankings on their weekly projections. I wish both sites would make the main weekly projections match the Kicker Article. Why pay someone to do the leg work if you aren't going to use the output for FBGs main weekly kicker projections?

Their friggen kickers. I don't want to choose between 2 sets of rankings. I hate kickers and defenses. This year I started an experimental free league with a few friends on Yahoo that doesn't start any K or DEF and I love it.

According to the Herman projections in the custom cheatsheet (Standard FBG scoring) the top 5 are: Barth, Gano, Hanson, Buehler, Nugent. Gostkowski is ranked 17th in the kickermania pdf but is ranked 6th in the custom cheatsheet. There is a serious disconnect somewhere here!

I'm interested in the official FBGs response to this.I just usually only glance at the kickermania sheet, because I assume the kicker stats I should use for my decisions will be properly reflected in Projections Dominator, and thus Lineup Dominator.

I just sent a message to Mr. Herman so hopefully he will reply soon. I also would like to see him post Kickermania on Wednesdays and Return Guys on Thursday. IMO most people would like to see the kicker projections a day earlier.

I didn't mean to imply that I think the numbers that end up in Lineup Dominator are wrong in any way, just that the OP's discrepancy question made me a little curious.

This week's Kickermania rankings are my correct kicker rankings. The projections however were indeed screwed up (by me). I just went back and found a spreadsheet typo that resulted in the wrong batch of numbers to be inserted. I resubmitted my projections to Dodds for reposting.

I greatly appreciate the effort that goes into kickermania, but the bottom line are the projections that come out of it each week and those are fed into Projections Dominator...so am I missing something?... if you use PD, what's the reason to look at kickermania?
