Kid + Parent + Teacher = FAIL (1 Viewer)

Wife got a text late last night asking if it was ok if our son spoke with principal regarding the "bench warmers" comment.   Apparently, the principal is conducting some sort of investigation into this incident after the mom's made a big fuss.
Run all the good ones out of the school, next thing you know, you are left with a bunch of MOPs teaching.

Good grief. I couldn't hack it in education, I'd get fired so fast it would be ridiculous.

Working for a construction company is a breath of fresh air.  I'd rather be yelled at and called an MFer than have to deal with this kind of crap.  I hate what suburban women are doing to our kids, especially the boys.
Don't blame the moms.  Dads are there, too.  They could man up and stop this crap.

Personal accountability to parents for school staff was the end of public education. Authority is far more vital to instruction than skill or resources.
Even more challenging now that school of choice and charters exist. Parents have so many options. A school has to treat their parents and students as customers. The customer is always right. If you want to keep the customers, you need to make sure they get good grades and let them get away with whatever behavior they want.

Any that's why this country is rapidly becoming a ####hole for ####heels. Customers instead of citizens. Institutions caring more about size & image than its charge. Educate the children - screw how we feel about the process and obtain the result.
