ESPN will be rooting for L.A. next year so they can show off there new digs at the Kodia Theater. It holds 7000 people and they plan to have an NFL Experience type thing like they do for Super Bowls and the X Games.
ESPN has something going at the Kodak?I had no idea. You would be hard pressed to do an NFL experience thing like at Super Bowls at/near the Kodak - there isn't any room. You'd have to put it somewhere else.
My bad...not the Kodak..or the Kodia.....the Nokia Theater(apparently I put them both together). Its the new building across from the Staples Center downtown. ESPN is setting up shop ther for their West Coast feed. They are not going to be exclusive to Bristol.
Well with Disney in Burbank - it makes sense for the Mothership to call them home.Yeah, the Nokia makes more sense. Although you may be onto somethign with the whole Kodia thing - we should copyright it.
So L.A. has shown the NFL fan twice in the past 20 years that is simply can't support an NFL team because it is more concerned about the Pac-10, so as a result the draft should be moved there?NY is the mecca - keep it there. While were at it lets move the State of the Union address to a different city each year.

A) The Raiders were drawing all right here for some time. Davis got a better deal (in his mind) in OAK so off he went. So did Georgia Frontiere and the Rams with St Louis for that matter.B) The Pac 10 had nothing to do with the relocation of either the Rams or Raiders. Neither UCLA nor USC was any good when the teams left. They weren't drawing fans away or anything. I'm not saying it (the draft) should come to LA - but get your facts straight. You wanna talk about the stupidity that cost the LA area expansion franchise opportunities we can do that and you would be right. But the Rams and Raiders didn't have to leave. They had plenty of fans - some of which (Raiders) still fly to Oakland for games.
