3 Preseason Games

Game 1 - 5catch - 50yds

Game 2 - 6catch - 70yds

Game 3 - 6catch - 88yds

I believe he's leading the NFL Pre-season in yards.

Thoughts?

I expect that Copper will outperform Moore. I don't think either have value unless you are in a very deep league.

The guy to keep an eye on is Patten. He could be the surprise.

Saints WR Lance Moore caught six passes for 88 yards to lead New Orleans in receiving in Thursday night's preseason win.

Moore, the team’s kick returner and possible No. 3 or 4 receiver, showed solid chemistry with Jamie Martin in particular. Third-wideout contender David Patten (6-75-1) also had an excellent game, and could reportedly even challenge Devery Henderson for the starting job opposite Marques Colston.

If theres a deep sleeper out there it could be Lance Moore, just saying, Patten is an injury liablility having missed the last 3 of 4 years

I'm watching the replay and both Patten and Moore look really good, Moore specifically showed nice hands. I doubt either start or have much value this season, but Moore has good dynasty potential.

I'm sure your aware of Colston's and Hendersons injuries, right?
Yes. I'd expect them back for the season opener. And after those 2 guys, you have Patten, Copper, Meachem and Moore. Good problem for Brees, not so good for those trying to find the best fantasy WR there.

Is he taking over Michael Lewis' former role?

That's a good thing to have allright. For playing on the SCOUT team.

the way the saints ran their offense, the #2 WR is not so very different than the #3 and so on. They use them a lot and according to match ups. Copper, Patten, Moore (if he makes the team), Meachem, et al will get opportunities. The only reason, I think, to buy any of them is for insurance purposes.

Anybody happen to know who led the NFL in preseason receptions for the last 10 years and how they panned out? I don't know but I am guessing it would be a list of unknown names. I guess he could do something but I'm just saying the probability of him being a FF factor is probably low.

Clarence Moore the NEW #84.. Watch out for him this year with McNair under centerC.MOOREC.MOOREC.MOORE
I took a flier on him a couple of seasons ago.I expected him to breakout but alas, it never happened.
He has the height, the size and the speedjust doesn't have the ability to catch the football consistentlyoh well.. on a related note Bill Davis' birthday party is this weekend and Chris Moore is supposed to be coming
