Laron Landry (1 Viewer)

I'm new to IDP this year.

I have Patrick Chung as my starting DB.

Landry was on the wire and ranked too high to pass up.

What's the consensus view for him this season?

Does he regain his form and become a top-10 or top-5 DB this year?

Thanks for any and all advice.

I don't think anybody knows since he's still recovering from a serious Achilles injury. Boom or bust player this year.

Word is that Reed Doughty will start Week 1 against the Giants. After that is anyone's guess. Risky pickup.

Atogwe might be the more valuable safety in WASH

Landry is a game time decision at this point in time. So as far as starting him week 1, I like Patrick Chung. It sounds as if LaRon didnt tweek his hammy he would have been good to go for the opener. He is tough as nails and fully expect him to play the majority of the year at his usual elite level. How many bench spots are you allowed? I certainly dont see Landry as a high risk pick as a backup, especially with how much I like Chunger.

Landry tweeted this today, but retracted it later:

Uuuhhh oooo it ain't my fault...blame the genius circus staff for the rush. wouldve been there 2wks ago. Im sry but saga cont
Not sure what it means, but sounds like he's out.

Yes I need a translation, but seems like he's out for a few games(my pinion). I'm starting Otogwe and Woodson.

Isnt there a good chance that even once LaRon is back, Atogwe limits his ability to repeat his 2010 numbers? Atogwe is no slouch and should get his.

I would think Atogwe manning deep center would allow Landry to play even more in the box than last year. Landry should be gold PPG-wise. The question is how many games will he play?

Thanks Guys!I may end up using that spot for a LB upgrade.

If Landry stays in the box and stays healthy, but we don't know how they'll be used yet.

Just have to read the Arian Foster threads and apply the logic here :P Similar injury. If you have room to stash LL, I would do so. But if not, then I would prob look around for a replacement. Hamstring injuries can linger.
