We've all been there before........We lock in our 'winning' lineup on Friday or Saturday and then get up on Sunday and see some new tidbit that gives us pause regarding a starter or two and we then make a change. Curious as to whether or not the newly inserted player typically outperforms the original player, in your experience.

I know what my experience is, and I find myself in the same situation again this morning. I went ahead and made a change at RB today, and as always in these situations I'm  . How about you?

"I will not change my lineup on Sunday....I will not change my lineup on Sunday..."

I will only make exceptions if I'm waiting on a GTD guy, horrible weather for a QB/WR, or something unforseen like Corey Dillon getting into an accident on the way to the stadium (like a couple of years ago with the Bengals when an unknown Rudi Johnson came in to rush for 120+ and 2 TDs). Otherwise, I usually end up like the guy on the commercial who's watching Julius Jones have a career day right after he benched him....

Anyone catch the "NFL.com Fantasy Rule #12" ad a few minutes ago on ESPN? :lmao:

The Houshamazilla guy makes last minute change to bench JJ and watches in anguish as JJ has career day.

Not on Youtube yet...

not well ...usually what the hell am i thinking and I am making several of these this week....including Benching Ruddi for M Morris :bag:

Bites me in the ###.

Unless a guy is OUT, I try not to make changes.

Still, this morning I made a few I'm sure I'll question later.....can't help it, I enjoy this Sunday morning ritual too much. :)

I try not to, unless something significant changes.

Player is out = bench, of course.

Top Corner is out, I might plug in a WR ranked close to another.

Otherwise, no changing on Sunday, despite what ESPN says about benching Randy Moss.

I just benched Rudi based on what I read here this morning. Will report back later on how that worked out.
Reporting back as promised..........Rudi = 14 pts and his last minute replacement, FTaylor, = 13. So pretty much a wash although this will end up being a 'What the hell was I thinking' if I lose by a point or tie.

50/50. Today, 100% bad. Sat CJ for Coles at the last minute as CJ hadn't done jack taco this year. Gulp.

I would say my last minute changes have a 75% failure rate. :wall:

Seems like last minute charges are more likely to be removing studs for backup options, which would tend to be more likely mistakes, no?
