Late Night Snacks: What do you got? (1 Viewer)

I'm a cereal guy late at night.

I love getting a big bowl of cereal (I like a lot of the Kashi brand varieties) and adding walnuts and blueberries/raspberries/bananas.

Fruit yogurt + sharp cheddar cheese + almonds + grapes, all mixed together. Suggested ratio:

one spoon yogurt + 1cm^2 cheese cube + couple almonds + a grape or two

cheese and yogurt? :o

A personal favorite of mine:

Slice cucumber into thin wafers (like chips) and lay them out on a plate. Then dump a good bit of white vinegar on them and dust them with salt. Very tasty and not bad for you assuming you go really light on the salt.

Yellow cake with chocolate icing. When my girls were younger and I had to stumble downstairs to make them milk in the middle of the night, I would sometimes destroy 4-6 cupcakes or pieces of cake with a glass of cold milk, all in about 2 minutes.

Surprisingly, no I'm not a fat mess. :wall:

Nabisco 'everything' crackers

Boars head peperoni

Extra sharp cheddar

Enjoying right now with a nice red wine.

We almost always have a cucumbers in vinegar tub in the fridge. Like to throw some garlic in there too.

Now that sounds good.

Dude, we had a brief conversation a while ago about fried pickles. I got to have them on a trip to Detroit. Awesome stuff. Fried, battered, dipped in ranch if you wanted. Ate the whole basket. Now those were some damn good pickles.

Spears or slices? I prefer slices when you're talking fried.

Spears, unless we're confusing each other. Definitely. Ah, I could go for slices, too. But dill spears in this instance, I think. Cut in eighths or quarters. I'm sober and I could go for some.

Had em. Like em. Prefer slices like chips.

It's amazing when you look up at the OP and go, "Wow, I started this thread" :D

Well, last night at 11:30, I had some leftover rotini with some Mariana sauce. Really hit the spot and I didn't get heartburn!
